  What is the best natural weight loss supplements, with so many to choose from how can you make the right decision. First off do some research on the internet for natural weight loss supplements, when you find one, visit their website, read some testimonial and see how long the company's been in business for, if the company has been around for a few years, must be doing something right. Don't get caught up in natural weight loss supplements that are claiming you can lose 10 pounds in a week, that is really unrealistic results. If you can lose 1-3 pounds a week then that is a more realistic result. If they are claiming 10 pounds or more then I would be really cautious of what is in the natural weight loss supplement.

  So how long did it take you to put on your extra weight? Don't get discouraged if in the first month you don't see huge results, any weight loss is a step towards a healthier life. Just remember natural weight loss supplements are a aid in losing weight, if you don't start eating healthier, exercising regularly and start living a healthier lifestyle, then you are probably wasting your money, natural weight loss supplements are not a magic pill.

  What are health foods?  Health foods are foods that are considered beneficial to your health. The term health foods usually refers to natural foods, organic foods, whole foods and sometimes dietary supplements.

These health foods will not only help you lose weight, but they are full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. Also high in antioxidant compounds, low in calorie density, and readily available to buy at your local grocery store.

Almonds
Packed with nutrients (fiber, riboflavin, magnesium, iron and calcium). Most of the fat in almonds is monounsaturated fat, which may help to lower blood cholestrol levels. Also a excellent snack food because it helps to curb your hunger.

Blueberries
Loaded with phytonutrients, a compound that may help to prevent chronic diseases. Blueberries also help to improve short term memory and promote healthy aging.

Broccoli
Also broccoli contains phytonutrients, and is high in vitamin C and A. Vitamin A is linked to preserving eye health.

Spinach

Sweet Potatoes

Food for burning fat

  Everybody needs a little help losing weight, so here is a list of food for burning fat, that not only will make you feel great when you include them in your diet, but will also help to burn more calories.

Whole Grains
The body will burn twice as much calories breaking down whole foods than processed foods. Especially oats and brown rice, which are high in fiber and make you feel full longer. Excellent food for burning fat!

Lean Meats
Protein has a high thermogenic effect, you burn about 30% of the calories the food contains during digestion. So a 300 calorie piece of chicken breast will require about 90 calories to break down.

Low Fat Dairy Products
High in calcium and vitamin D, low fat diary products are a must for a robust metabolism, and in helping to preserve and build muscle mass.

Green Tea
It has a compound called EGCG, which temporarily speeds up metabolism, to make it a daily habit try keeping a jug of iced tea in the fridge.

Lentils
One cup of lentils packs 35% of your daily iron, and since up to 20% of people are iron deficient, this is a must for your diet. When you lack a nutrient, your metabolism slows down because the body is not getting what it needs to work properly and efficiently.

Hot Peppers
Peppers have a compound called capsaicin, that gives chilli peppers their kick. Capsaicin heats up your body, and in turn, helps to melt additional calories.

So having eggs for breakfast instead of traditional breakfasts like toast or cereal, studies have shown you can lose twice as much weight as people eating breakfasts full of carbs.

Salmon & Tuna
Full of omega-3 fatty acids, salmon and tuna have a hormone called leptin, associated with higher caloric burn.

Berries
Are a great source of fiber and a excellent roughage source.

Almonds
Full of healthy fats your body needs to function properly, they are great for a snack food, because they can curb your hunger.

What Is The Healthy Lifestyle

 What is the healthy lifestyle?   

What does it mean to be healthy, one healthy lifestyle is not the same for everybody, not even close! We all know being overweight is unhealthy, so is smoking, overeating, junk food, laziness, watching to much tv and not enough excersise, we have been told this over and over, we get it most of us have unhealthy lifestyles.

So how do you change your unhealthy lifestyle, it starts with a decision, make up your mind, decide that you are going to change, say it out loud, write it down, then tell your partner, if you don't have one, tell a friend or family member. Trust me you will feel so much better when you get it out, also your more appt to follow through when you have stated your intentions. When you state your goal just make sure it is exactly what you want and not what you think you can accomplish.

One of the biggest challenges you will face while accomplishing your goal is within yourself, losing weight is one thing, and changing your way of thinking is another. I think self help or self improvement books and programs are a must to put you on a balanced healthy lifestyle.

It doesnt matter if you want to lose 5 lbs or 100 lbs, be more active, spend more time with your family, eat right or watch less tv, these changes will put you on the right track to a healthy lifestyle.

So what is the healthy lifestyle, what makes you happy, gives you self worth, sense of accomplishment or belonging. What is your healthy lifestyle?

So who am I, my name is Jason and this is my healthy lifestyle! From my younger years to 22 I was very active in cardio, jogging, baseball, hockey(recrational) and a little weightlifting, I maintained a very healthy lifestyle, including my jobs which required physical work. Then around 24 I started settling down, got married and had two daughters, and started losing all ambition to stay fit and keep active. I gained some weight and just did not have a good outlook on life in general. I am now 31 and have been seperated for almost a year now, things were hard for a few months but now I realize how necessary the seperation was to live a healthy lifestyle, and my zest for getting back in shape grows stronger by the day. This is my decision to start living a healthy lifestyle, feel free to post on my blog any ideas or thoughts you may have to live a healthy lifestyle.
